Ni No Kuni Freezing Issues
Ni No Kuni Duplex release has been freezing like crazy for everyone playing it on CFW. Strangely no one has been able to come up with a fix. That is why creating a thread in proper section. It may come to light and somebody may create a patch or fix.

I haven't had any issues since my post the other day in the other thread. Played a couple times since then but not for very long.
I read elsewhere someone confirmed using a legit disc still got hangups using CFW. |

The only hicup I have had is when im running around outside of town in the open world and get into a fight , when i beat the fight and it goes back to open world it lags to go back. I turned off my bdmirror to try it without it and no more hangups. Im not sure why everyone is loosing there saves, or freezing, or shutting down there ps3. I was having that problem with Bops 2 thats why I gave up on even trying to load/play that game. Everyone else here seems to run it just fine ( bops 2 ) cept me. The game wont even get past main menu for me without freezing or shutting down ps3. That game and Resistance 3 are the only ones to do that to my console after my reball. Maybe everyone just has a bad dump maybe O.o im not sure, all I know is the game runs just fine for me, without any of these issues anyone here is reporting. Maybe try a higher CFW with a PS3 game disc in drive, if your not already doing that. I know alot of the newer users are on slims and are trying the game discless, i have yet to try it discless as I dont play any of my backups discless. higher compatibility with Disc in drive ya know. EDIT: Im also 14hrs into the game, if that means anything. :dontknow::dontknow::dontknow::dontknow::dontknow: |
Reviews have been high and some claim it to be as good as Chrono Trigger. I may actually pick it up. JRPG's haven't been doing so good here in NA. It's the perfect opportunity to show support force them to bring more over here.

No you are not the only one mate. I am one of the lucky ones too. 44h04m in the game (yeah i barely slept since i downloaded it :) ) and i have experienced 1 hard freeze around 8h in the game and while i was free roaming in the desert.
I have a 10 - 15 sec lag everytime i finish a battle in the open world and a 45 sec lag everytime i open the book. So I believe it is a matter of luck afterall. I use multiman 4.18.04, rogero 4.30 v2.3, no bd emu or any other options at all in mm and running the game from external usb which is the only usb in the port 000. Also running with english audio and subs on, if that matter to anyone. |

I still have a lag getting into my book too, but with BD mirror off on the game the after battle lag in the open world is like 5-6sec, hardly even noticable now ^_^ ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* @AsimLeonheart Glad its working now ^_^ might be cause everyone is doing it from internal without a DISC in drive. I always run backups with disc in drive and from external. To many games to waste my internal Memory with game backups, I have alot of install DATA on there ^_^ |
