downgrade cechhx (fat with nor chip) help!

i have cechhx used from a used e3 flasher. updated the samsung update, but when i try backup i get this error 1 0 0 0 1 1 0 0 Failed to initialize PS3 BIOS.

I have 2 flasher. both been used before. so i overwritten the firmware with the samsung and tried.

still get same error. even tried different flasher. still same.

what can i do ? i see that problem the clip is a bit lose? or what should i do ?

Sand/shave the clip down on both sides and tape it down tight. When it is taped down put some cardboard wedges the size of the clip on to of the clip and tape them down nice and tight. Also have a look in the downgrade and flashing forums as their is a good stick there, which will help.

Make sure if you get a dump without errors to byte reverse it with flowrebuilder and get it verified by our trusted members at dumpcheck @ hotmail . co. uk don't just flash it or you could brick. Who's guide are you following?

The problem is the small capacitor close to the bottom right hand side of the nor chip. It stops the clip from seating flush, if you remove the plastic from the side of the clip it will fit a hell of alot better. Look in the downgrade and flashing forums at the stickie's @playerkp420 has some good pics of what plastic you need to remove from the clip.

oh the two which sits very closely to the pin ? i see that one side have 2 very close to the pin and the other one not so close but can make a lump to the flasher.

i saw that picture and sanded the same. seems like the extra plastic is sanded on both side :)

edit:

It work now. sanded the side. Used some pressute on the top and tape it. Since the fat have a lot of room. use a lot of foam or like me custom made metal plate that i had to cut out.
