Mortal Kombat 9 on Rogero 4.31
 

So, I have rogero 4.31, multiman 4.18.00 and I cannot run MK9 from external or internal HDD.
I tried Mortal.Kombat.PS3-CHARGED and Mortal Kombat EUR PS3-ABSTRAKT.
Everytime I tried to run the game I got black screen.

Any tips ?

I had the Same Problem. Tip: Put a/any Disc into your blueray :D

And get/install the new Rogero Update.

Same here, Mortal Kombat give me Black Screen (internal or external HDD).
And i can't insert disc in my PS3 because I don't have PS3 DiscGame and BDplayer is Broken

@antraax Try update to rogero 4.30 v2.05 and see if compatibility is increased.
(also update mM to 04.19.01)

Or swap to IRIS manager and give it a go discless (or @alaltaieri with a disc in the drive)

its actually MM 4.19.02 now hehehe

and the game MK9 any edition runs wayyyyy better with disc in drive. @antraax how is it possible that your ps3 is modded and you dont even have a legit game for it O.o

Knowing that all backups run better with a disc in drive, I honestly thinks thats why alot of people are having issues running some games cause there always tryinig to run them discless. Ive had MGS4 or Dantes Inferno in my PS3 drive for gawd knows how long :laugh: got MGS4 from a friend for 5$.

Have you tried re-marrying the blue ray drive? or is the motor like just busted

I have simply installed Rogero with USB Key.

For the moment the only games i have installed is :
FFXII-2, Soulcalibur, Red Dead : all work without any disc

I haven't try nothing with the blueRay, i was thinking i'll don't need it with Rogero CFW.

As far as I remember Mk9 dont run discless, then againi I could be wrong. Are you running it from a thumbdrive or a external HDD

I have tried with External HDD and Internal.

Do I need to Delete Mman before installing Iris ?

Iris 1.54 installed : always black screen on MK9

Multiman 4.19.02 Installed : always Black screen on MK9

I also installed Multiman 4.19.02. Rogero CFW 4.31 (actually I installed 4.30 2.05. but this is how it's appear on system info from xmb)

Always black screen.

I tried with disc inside.(actually the disc is genuine MK9 Komplete)

I also made a rip using multiman, same black screen. I played a little bit with multiman-game settings. I chose "direct boot", nothing, "bd mirror",nothing. "external+bd mirror",nothing... etc

Black screen :(

Maybe I should try to update the game from multiman - game settings ?
