Progskeet - USB Device Not Recognized

I've wired the Progskeet 1.2 up to flash 1 on my COK-002 board. I was able to dump flash 0 with a clip before it crapped out on me. Now I'm getting a USB not recognized message when plugging the Progskeet into my PC. I would also get this message when I plugged it with the clip seated on the NAND, so I had to plug the Progskeet in first and then seat the clip. I have tested all my points on the NAND legs and there are no shorts. Anyone know why I get this message and how I get around this problem since I'm now wired to the NAND?

Try removing the wires from the motherboard.

i cant actually recall hearing many success stories with prog..... e3 is the way to go. and even thats not perfect

E3 is for NOR memory, E3 don't support NAND.

Tested with multimeter. No shorts. Also I said it did it with clip seated so unless that was shorted also then I'm guessing that's not the issue here.

I'm also pretty sure E3 does not work with NANDs.

I don't understand what is going on here besides a possibly damaged Progskeet. When it is wired to NAND and I plug it into the PC I get USB not recognized. If I unground the Progskeet and plug it in then I do not.

THE E3 IS NOR BASED it has no update to date that will allow NAND support.
THE E3 WILL NOT WRITE / DUMP / FLASH NAND

i have heard that the new board requires alot more power than the old one to run.
assuming that is correct then with it trying to power the nand at the same time then the progskeet has lost some of that power and so with it not powered up propperly it then doesnt get detected by the pc.

1. if you are using a laptop make sure the laptop is plugged in. some usb's run on limited power when running from battery.

2. on laptop / desktop go to your power settings and select {high performance}
this will insure your usb's have full power

3. look for a twin usb to mini usb cable. these take extra power from a second usb port giving the prog more power to run.

4. buy a 3.3v dc adaptor and power your nands from that (dont connect 3.3v + gnd from progskeet)
