[EOI] BwE NOR Validator - Looking for Beta Testers!
 

Hello, I am BwE of betterwayelectronics.com and ps3devwiki.

I have constructed an in-depth NOR validator with up to 1200 validations, which span throughout the entire dump. It will check encrypted (still in alpha stages) and unencrypted sections and display the results of each.

Its still in the making, with constant new validations and optimisations. It will soon have a unique GUI or at least a creative way of displaying the results and will hopefully be able to detect almost every possible error.

I am looking for testers whom have a business or at least a vast amount of fresh and unique dumps that need validating. I need to be able to grasp potential false positives/negatives and feature requests etc. I also recommend you to have a background in validating as I may be adding a special feature to output entire corrupt sections that will then need to be verified manually.

There are detections still in testing by myself, all updates will be pushed to BETA versions of the validator.

I am not interested in giving this out to normal end users until its complete.

Once it is complete I will begin converting to NAND and will be doing this all over again.

Not blowing my trumpet but I do on average 5 per day but only had one bad dump so you wouldn't get a false positive maybe false negative but would think most "pro" modders are in this situation

@BwE i know me and you dont see eye to eye but i would like to suggest the guy's that operate the dumpcheck thread.

and i havent seen the others post replies so no point adding there names.

i suggest these ppl as the thread gets both good and bad dumps sent so you should get good feedback / results / suggestions from them.
