so I'm new to PS3 modding/ hacking and i could really use some help. I'm not really sure on what to do for jailbreaking a ps3. i sort of understand but I'm also very lost on how people explain it with the details and stuff. could someone help?

Read the tutorials, its all explained there with all the stuff required.

If you don't have experience with modding or downgrading I would have someone do it.

also it matters on your PS3. PS3's with model # 3k, 4k, or anything above a 25xx CANNOT BE DOWNGRADE.

I REPEAT 3k, 4k, or anything above(And including some) 25xx PS3's CAN NOT BE DOWNGRADED.

If you are below 3.55 OFW or at the same level no need to downgrade. Simple process.

I would search this forum(VERY informative) and I would search the wiki. The wiki is foolproof and almost completely right(notice I said almost lol)
