[HELP] Nor - Progskeet 1.2
 

Hi! I have a progskeet 1.2, if I use it soldering my dyn 001 (then nor), I can read and write, or only read?

Why you are asking if you have the ProgSkeet V1.1 :)
it is the best you can find, i hope i can find another one of it,
i received v1.2 while ago and put it on the shelf

IF I can source some Actel ProASIC3 A3P125 FPGA's, then it will be born again. PCB is ready & all other bits & bobs that go to make it.

aren't the actels programmed in factory?
at least that's what i have been reading after that you can update with the bit-stream

otherwise it would be ridiculous easy to clone te mofo
which is not the case because of the AES encryption it uses

i wondered it myself asked @euss NL to verify but so far it can't be done

Have you thought of trying a 250 as the skeet 1.2 was made for this

Don't know this as I have no truly blank devices. Then again, isn't the ProgSkeet v1.2 shipped unprogrammed and hence 'blank'??

@Sarah1331 , I cannot seem to source any Actel FPGA devices...
