Oh no my CFW PS3 died!!! Need some advice
 

Hi

I've had a loss, my PS3 with keamw on it has died on me. Nothing no power just dead. Its had a yellow light in the past and been fixed this time I think its gone for good.

So now im thinking what are the chances of finding a 3.55 or lower PS3 to buy new now? Pretty small Im guessing as its been a few years now surely.
So where else, ive looked on ebay but no luck so far :(

Downgrade a ps3? LOL the chances of buying a new 3.55 PS3 is bar none basically. so yeah...

Ebay is where I found mine.
But you have to make sure and message the people selling to find their firmware.
Took me a couple days but I landed one after sending a lot of messages.
I ended up copying and pasting the same message that asked for the FW version, explained how to find it, and told them not to update it when checking.

Then if they say they have 3.55 or lower you have proof of them stating that and can return it to them via ebay if it's higher.

Sounds a lot of trial and error.

thanks for the replys so far. I was worried it might mean the downgrading route as thats something ive not really followed so i know nothing at all about it.
Thanks for the copy and paste idea for ebay though, im going to go through a message as many as i can find. fingers crossed.

are you in usa? i sell hacked ones on ebay one at a time. and not one new ps3 is now hackable, last model of slim and new super slims can not be downgraded.

I've seen some new slims on eBay but that's all I've seen.
