Ps3 Brick, please help

Ok so i got a NOR Dump with E3 Flasher using the NOR CLIP CABLE, i checked the NOR it's valid, MJ999 checked it too and said it's valid.
I tried to flash it with e3 downgrade file and i think it's bricked now. When i try to power the ps3, it powers up, the leds on e3 flasher light up, the ps3 lights green and then it's lights yellow for a fraction of a second and then blinking red.
What do i have to do now in order to flash back the original dump and then try to downgrade again?

thank you for reply.
I don't have another choice other than soldering?

EDIT:So let me get this straight: I need to solder a wire between the E3 Nor Clip and the E3 Linker? Or were do I need to solder the E3 Linker? I know the point to where to sold the E3 Linker is that SBE but the other end where?

Are u using the clip or the linker?

Sbe to nor tristate.

Or you can solder it from nor tristate to ground on the motherboard. If you do that u need to remove the wire after flashing.

You can see the diagrams for your motherboard in the guide below.

i was using the cable for backup.
now i got the whole picture about this.
i'll just have to think which way to choose(if i solder the tristate to ground then i won't be able to check it the writing was succesfull, and that will be a problem because i have samsung nor and the clip it won't stay properly seated on the nor so i'll have to repead the process a few times until i get a good writing. on the other hand if I solder the tristate to the clip i might damage the clip because it's so thin and even if i don't damage it i don't think i wanna do it this way but i think it's the most convenient way)
i have to think about this
thanks for your support

To make sure you have a good connection, you can flash your valid dump. Then make a backup, and do the file compare under the analysis tab in HxD.
If they are identical, the clip is on correctly.

Or you can use this SBE point (see pic) on the flasher. Instead of on the ribbon.

can you tell me what kind of wires should i use to solder?

playerkp420 02-14-2013 09:03 PM

28 or 30 gwg works the best. Rip apart an old Ethernet cable and cut it up.

hmmm i wasn't thinking about that, i was thinking about going to buy some wires.
thanks for the advice man, it will help me a lot

EDIT: I see in the diagram that there are several grounding point, am i right? Does it matter at which one of them I solder the SBE to?

ok i manged to flash the nor with my original patched dump with PS3 NOR Patcher v1 Three Musketeers from your tutorial. i got to the menu where the last option is System Recovery, i downloaded CEX_DOWNGRADER_PUP i put it in PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP(renamed it) on a fat32 formated usb stick and then plugged it into the right usb slot, pushed start and select at the same time but nothing happens it just says: Checking Please wait.
What do i have to do next?
