audio too fast psx games on multiman
Hey guys I've done searching on Google and here and haven't found anything. If this has already been addressed please link me so I can read for myself, otherwise here is the issue:
When I play my PSX backups (for example Crash Bandicoot 1,2,3) the audio is very rapid. And I also believe this causes audio not to be synced with the video at times. I am not using the Cobra Dongle just multiMAN 4.20.03 on system firmware 4.30 and my model is CECH-2101B. If I wasn't specific enough let me know. Thanks, Patrick |

any ideas? |

Go to MM's settings, search for something like PSX mode and set it to either PAL or NTSC depending on the region of the game.

When we fix ps1/psn pal games to work on ntsc that is the end result for the sound.
We Never found a solution tho. |
Interesting.. Using NTSC games do have normal audio. Hm.. That's interesting. Thanks for the answer!

@thed0ctor
If you have a PAL game, just change the video settings to PAL, it should definitely fix that "too fast audio".

How do i do this exactly? Under the emulation setting for PSX on the MM menu (the one next to the web icon) the games don't have a video setting. Under the Settings menu the thing I found that was closest was PSX Display Mode (PAL) and PSX Display Mode (NTSC) which only changes the quality not the type of mode. Am I looking in the wrong spot or..
