audio too fast psx games on multiman

Hey guys I've done searching on Google and here and haven't found anything. If this has already been addressed please link me so I can read for myself, otherwise here is the issue:

When I play my PSX backups (for example Crash Bandicoot 1,2,3) the audio is very rapid. And I also believe this causes audio not to be synced with the video at times.

I am not using the Cobra Dongle just multiMAN 4.20.03 on system firmware 4.30 and my model is CECH-2101B.

If I wasn't specific enough let me know.

Thanks,

Patrick

any ideas?

@thed0ctor

I would suggest using iris manager for ps1 games.

Go to MM's settings, search for something like PSX mode and set it to either PAL or NTSC depending on the region of the game.

I tried using Iris Manager and still had the same audio issues. Really feel like it's a setting somewhere but don't know where to change it.

I found video settings for this but not audio

When we fix ps1/psn pal games to work on ntsc that is the end result for the sound.

We Never found a solution tho.

Interesting.. Using NTSC games do have normal audio. Hm.. That's interesting. Thanks for the answer!

@thed0ctor If you have a PAL game, just change the video settings to PAL, it should definitely fix that "too fast audio".

How do i do this exactly? Under the emulation setting for PSX on the MM menu (the one next to the web icon) the games don't have a video setting. Under the Settings menu the thing I found that was closest was PSX Display Mode (PAL) and PSX Display Mode (NTSC) which only changes the quality not the type of mode. Am I looking in the wrong spot or..
