Freshly modded PS3 looks amazing
Ok guys my PS3 lived through the orange pop incident and i finished lighting it up so here it is. I used 8 led's 4 blue to light up the case and 4 green to light up the power supply these pics suck and I'm gonna move some of the lights around tomorrow so I'll post better pics and I'll take pics of the wiring inside.
Ok guys until im allowed to upload here with out getting an error for a 27k ..jpg pic you will have to goto Freshly modded PS3 - PlaystationHome.com or Hack Beyond to see it To anyone who can help me get these photos uploaded please allow me to be able to post these pics |
Beautiful mod, just as i thought the ps3's plastic IS see-through if the sufficient amount of light is shun thru it. Wouldnt it be possible to mount LEDs onto a clip on fan , (therefore not voiding the warranty)?

unfourtanetly I had to cut a giant hole in the plastic that resides under the upper cover or else there was just no room to work with even then I had a space just bigger than the LED's them selfs to work with so it was a tight fit under the cover. Also I love that it appears stock until you power it on. As for the clip on fan it wont light it up like you think it would Its a tight fit in there so no room for light to travel unless its put inside the case |
Those are pretty cool mod's you got there. Nice work!
