    Here is the update!

This is an “unofficial” version of Iris Manager 2.93 by Estwald/D-Skywalk. This version includes all the new Cobra/Mamba payload and ISO features added by Estwald. The changes that I made are mainly related to the user interface (buttons layout are more XMB-like, quick access to File Manager, progress bar when game list is scanned or file permissions are applied, colors, 16 gui modes, etc.). It also includes the Payloads from Rancid-O’s PS3ITA Manager, Joonie and Habib. The most notable feature is that unlike the official version, it scans GAMES/GAMEZ on the external drives.

    New mamba payloads for 3.55 / 3.55D / 4.21 / 4.21D /4.30 / 4.31 / 4.40 / 4.41 / 4.41D / 4.46 / 4.46D /4.50 / 4.50D / 4.53 / 4.53D / 4.55 / 4.55D / 4.60 / 4.65. Now PS3 ISOs are playable on all these CFW without need of Cobra support.

IMPORTANT: If you use webMAN on Cobra CFW, unmount any mounted game before launch IRISMAN.

    Download via brewology: HERE

Thanks @pauline45 for the heads up.

EDIT: Aldostools also released this today: Lastplay V1.00!

This is an alternative for multiMAN’s Last Game based on IRISMAN.

    Main features:
    - Based on IRISMAN to reduce the conflicts with payloads for IRISMAN/Iris forks users.
    - Support for all CFW payloads already supported by IRISMAN (including mamba and 4.60/4.65 CEX)
    - Support all media supported by IRISMAN (PS3/PSX/PS2/PSP/etc.)
    - Support both multiMAN** and IRISMAN last played games

**Some features in the LASTPLAY.BIN configuration file are not supported.

    Download: HERE (aldostools site)

Thank you @loverboysimer for the update :)

Joonie has released his Rebug mod to veresion 4.53.1. v4. This will be his last build of the release. His release brings many improvements and updates on this latest and final release.

    [MOD by Joonie] v4

*This is an improved release of the unofficial leaked version of REBUG COBRA 4.53.1, fixed almost all bugs and added new features.
This should be my last build and I am no longer releasing another build, This CFW has been fully tested by more than 40 different PS3 units.

    Tested Units

    [PS2 Backward Compatible]

    [PS2 Semi-Backward Compatible]

    [Non-Backward Compatible]

    Tested DEBUG Units

    Download Link :

    MD5 :

    REBUG_4.53.1_REX_COBRA_[MOD_by_Joonie_v4.PUP 201.9 MB (211,748,798)

    REBUG_4.53.1_D-REX_COBRA_[MOD_by_Joonie_v4].PUP 201.9 MB (211,748,801)

    Main features

    REBUG REX features
CEX/DEX lv2 kernel swap on DEX
    Cobra 7.0.1 features
    Rebug Toolbox v2.02 built in
Toggles for Cobra and webMan in toolbox
    Newest webMan Mod integrated
Spoofs to 4.65 while in Rebug mode
    PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP isos
    BD/DVD Movie ISO
    Cinavia Protection Bypass
    RSOD Bypass
    In-Game Screenshot

    *Change note

    August 3rd 2014 - *4.53.2U - PSN/SEN supported [4.60 spoofer]
    August 4th 2014 - *4.53.3U - PSP Issue is fixed from 4.53.2U release.
September 3rd 2014 - *4.53.1 v4 - Version number is changed based on @aldostools ’s suggestion due to avoid misleading, and a lot of new features below.

    1. PSN support is added with proper built-in firmware version spoofer
    [v4.65 [Currently optional update]]

*REBUG TOOLBOX 2.02.00 is need to activate 4.65 spoof via REBUG mode
You can find REBUG TOOLBOX via Package manager.

    2. Added PS2 ISO support for both BC / Semi BC consoles

However, there is a little glitch bug that is tolerable, when pressing PS button while playing PS2 games, its menu won’t show up, so when you quit game, you have to press power button to quit games. Wireless controller connectivity is supported for those models.

Non-BC consoles do not have this problem, however it still requires wired connectivity with controller pads. If you are all about PS2 gaming, then I strongly suggest using any 4.46 Cobra CFW build such as Rogero/Cobra , Habib/Cobra, unofficial REBUG/COBRA and etc..

    * One more thing to remind you all
Non BC consoles rely on using ps2netemu file [software PS2 emulation] and ps2netemu does NOT support optical PS2 discs
here is the quote from the official release note of Cobra 7.00 source

However, there is no support for optical discs in ps2_netemu. Don’t forget to set the memory cards in XMB, in the old memmory card utility for PS/PS2, as ps2_netemu won’t let you assign them in game.
BC consoles will still use their respetive emulators (ps2_emu, ps2_gxemu), which have much better compatibilty and also support optical discs, original or backup.

    Source 1 : http://www.tortuga-cove.com/forums/v…d40a48318908be

    3. Updated webMAN integration

[webMAN MOD v1.30.22 English only version by @aldostools and @Matsumot0 this fully supports DEX mode, you won't have any problem with CFW syscall removal and fan controller, many thanks to these two people and @deank for his original source code ]

    4. Cinavia Protection Fully Disabled [Special thanks to @smhabib / mysis]

*About BD ISO playback: mmCM does not support AACS decryption, if you have a problem with mounting BD ISO files, then you need to decrypt your BDISO properly on PC.

    5. No BT/BD patches to allow installation on consoles with broken BluRay Drive or Bluetooth Board.

    6. Enhanced Remote play with PC more info : http://www.ps3devwiki.com/ps3/Remote_Play

    7. Patched np_trophy_plugin.sprx / np_trophy_util.sprx
Ignore Trophy error caused by corrupted save files.

    8. Fixed the Issue with recovery mode.

*. D-REX EDITION is properly made out of REX EDITION.
*. D-REX EDITION is for DEBUG kit [DEX] and CEX2DEX PS3

*Plus, If you disable Cobra on REBUG TOOLBOX, This fixes all possible incompatibility with homebrews and games. ex) Amazon Instant Video, CCAPI and so on. This is really cool.

I think this should be good enough for most users. It took me quite a long way to come this far, it was frustrating at the beginning but now the results tastes so delicious I have been helped by a lot of senior developers, I feel grateful and can’t wait to learn more, learning experience is never enough.

I also made a little Q / A that should answer most common questions about this CFW, if anyone wants to add something please give me suggestions via reply.

    Q / A

    1. multiMAN / mmCM

*multiMAN/mmCM does not support DEX mode yet.

    2. IrisMAN / GameSonic

*Can’t load games on Cobra mode, if you want to use them, disable Cobra with REBUG TOOLBOX

    3. webMAN 1.30.22 [ENG]

*If you want language supports, you can install webMAN 1.30.22 standalone pkg.

    4. CCAPI / TMAPI

*CCAPI can cause softbrick when Cobra is enabled, please disable first then install it.
*TMAPI seems to work fine with Cobra [DEX].

    5. PSNPATCH / SEN / ONLINE Safety

*PSNPATCH does not fully support REBUG COBRA.
    *SEN Enabler is fully supported.
*Activate “REBUG” mode on REBUG TOOLBOX for PSN/SEN Accessibility

*Toolbox comes with FW, Install it via Package Manager.

    7. PS3 - Games up to 4.53 Version are supported

*For newer games please resign EBOOT/SELF/SPRX

    8. PS2 - Use mmCM , Iris Manager forks or webMAN

    9. PSP - PSP Launcher / PSP Remaster Launcher 2.0 Required to load PSP ISO files.

    10. DVD / BD MOVIES

*For BD Movies, *AACS* must be decrypted, Do NOT use BDISO ripped from mmCM

    11. D-REX Edition : The same features with REX version, Allow Installation on DEX consoles.

    12. CEX to DEX to CEX conversion.

*eEid Root key, CEX2DEX tool or IDPSet or IDPS Changer required to make DEX dump.

    Still without photoshop..sorry.

I will make this straight to the point, thus there’s not too much questions and answers to cover; than that we already explained 100 times on so many threads. Those common and irking questions like:

    • I got banned, now what?.
    • There’s a safer way to play online with CFW and NOT get banned?.
    • I’m on CFW, which tools/app could i use to avoid detection?.

    “I got banned, now what?”:

Well, i know that some users rarely reads something BEFORE doing anything. I understand that hype of going online with a modified system, but then..shit happens.
Common sense dictactes; that if you are on CFW, which is a custom firmware not the original one OFW. You are under their Sony’s radar that same instant you entered into a COD lobby of infected zombies.

You got hammered, your account is lost in oblivion with 0 chance of recorevy but you can use some “unorthodox” tools and guides to get back to PSN. With a *new* randomly generated IDPS.
So getting banned is the less of your worries, i can relate too to that anger that flows in your vains because you lost everything you’ve done so far.
But hey!, you don’t need to read whole PSDEVWIKI to understand that you are entering into a almost 0 tolerance zone with a modified unit. Which by the way is not allowed.

    We have a ban/poll thread = http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=46571
And this thread not so updated about risks and how back in those days you still could get into PSN without so much risks of detections like today =http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=46647

As for the tools, you know them = PS_Unban and others.
Just ask nicely and will we reply with a smile on our faces. :)
Otherwise, you could try to educate yourself, using this to feed your knowledge libido = and keep reading until your start to talk in codes with your family, wife or girlfriend. (or both).

There’s a safer way to play online with CFW and NOT get banned?:

It’s the most simple and straight to the point, response anyone could give you.

If you want to add some *extra* life-span, if you are so thirsty to get online with a modified system. Then buy an ODE device, install it and enjoy being the most cool guy in the block.
Ahh you thought ODE were free?, nope. It’s something you have to BUY to install into your PS3. In order to play ONLINE and avoid getting hammered from time to time.
Even if that happens, you could easily get it away with murder by changing a thing or 2 and keep cheating like there’s no tomorrow.

    For a price.

Or if happens that you own an unhackeable one, instead of choosing an ODE for your PS3 system. You could sell it and buy a hackeable one = 2K series and below.
3K series and above = You are one of many lucky bastards who have to choose that *legit* way and you can’t use an eyepatch and play backups, unless you buy an ODE device. Again, for a price.

Please refrain to make comments about if endorse or i’m pro or against ODE’s. It’s a hardware solution out there in the market, pretty expensive but enough to satify those consumers; who doesn’t WANT TO KNOW more about that product that they own and about that marvellous world of CFW’s.

I’m on CFW, which tools/apps could i use to avoid detection?:

Like i said above, you are with a modified system. Thus everytime you go online, a simple *ping* (so to speak) will reveal your position to the enemy. So there’s no foolproof method to avoid it, just get lucky and read some more.

    Regarding Sony Bans

take a look at the files, *he* left us. they tell a lot of things Sony is doing in order to find out who is being banned and who isn’t . look at the third file for an example. PTL.TMP.OUT shows in decrypted form an entry under the name of MULTIMAN. you can draw your own conclusions from there

Also, i’m not sure if this should be moved to the technical development and discussion section. Feel free to move it as you wish mods

There are many other interesting threads from dedicated devs which i won’t use as source at least in this frontpaged article.
You are free to search for them or ask for them, to get a better understanding how you get spotted when you get online with a CFW PS3.
Very “techy” for some but worths the read.

    Final words:

    Read. Read and read more.
There’s no way to understand something if you didn’t read it before or experience some kind of problem with it.
That’s the main reason many of us are here, seeking for answers.

Back in 2009/2010 i didn’t know what JB was, i tought it standed for some Justin bieber secret code or some weird term like that.
But as a lurkerer i wanted to get involved and learn about it. Of course, i’m amazed by some releases and how some creative minds managed to get at certain point that most of us thought as impossible.

My message is clear, either you come to ask a simple question and wait for an answer or just seek for that answer for yourself. By the little help and hints other users gave you.
It’s called interaction and something rather common in a community and society.

With so much patience and love.

“My mind,” he said, “rebels at stagnation. Give me problems, give me work, give me the most abstruse cryptogram or the most intricate analysis, and I am in my own proper atmosphere. I can dispense then with artificial stimulants. But I abhor the dull routine of existence. I crave for mental exaltation. That is why I have chosen my own particular profession, or rather created it, for I am the only one in the world.”

If you want to play your PSP games* in 3D, here’s how to do it:

Well I’m excited about it anyway. Lol.

So what I have here is two versions of PSP Remaster Launcher by @jjkkyu .
One is exactly the same as jjkkyu’s, the other has that Japanese language adhoc menu disabled and they both have 3D enabled.

Once you run the psp game you will need to press the PS button and scroll over to Settings/Game Settings and you should see some new options including 3D listed there.
If you don’t see the new options then you will need to QA flag your ps3. But Im willing to bet those options will be there even on a non QA flagged ps3 if you use my packages.

These packages can be used even if you do not have a 3DTV but of course your games will be displayed in 2D only.

    Side note:

Fan Control seems to cause problems for psp games(even on non cobra firmware with standalone psp packages) but if you do the following then the issues are nullified until next boot.

    1. boot ps3 and run fan control

    2. run a xmb based ps2classic before starting multiman(or start multiman and mount an iso as a ps2classic then run it), as soon as you hear that noise and see PlayStation 2 displayed on the screen exit back to xmb

    3. mount the psp game and start it.

    Enjoy PSP in 3D.
