As someone else pointed out, this is utterly false. I just wanted to be another confirmation that this works. I'm using the old method (as it allows you to download store links on your PC- Logan's tool does not) and I was able to log in and tested briefly with Warhawk.
Eventually there will be games shipping that require 3.21, but that hasn't happened yet, so for the moment, there is no reason to update AT ALL. Unless you have a slim, of course.
