F**KING SONY...they see a feature that only 5% of users use, and they remove it, saying that those 5% of their customers are worthless, and they don't care about them in the least. They can't even make false claims about security holes this time; all 3.41 adds is an extra window in the PS-Store; that is no excuse to block hard drive upgrades.

Good thing I re-did my system right before 3.41 came out; sounds like the accepted repair method of remove drive, format with pc, reinstall, and format from there will not work anymore.

I guess I should not be surprised; sony was only allowing hdd upgrades because they were loosing money on every system sold, so it was not in their interest to force people to buy a new system for a larger drive. Now that they make money on every system sold, they are blocking upgrades (and repairs) in order to force you to buy a new system.
