i confirm changing the port1_config_descriptor.S with adding in patch_table_data: function the line PATCH_INST(0x5745C, li %r31, 0) and not PATH_INST(0x5745C, li %r31, 0) work for me for FIFA11. can't get TIGERWOODS11 to work.
if you check with Awesome Peek Poker this method changes the value of the offset 0x8000000000005745C to 3be00000.
this method only allows for install of updates in some games as far as i can see.
