First: do you need the downgrade?
second: do you own the original $ 99,- PSJB? There are pictures on this forum to recognize a clone and the original. Main difference is a hole at the end of the clone usb device which the original doesn't have.
Second difference is the box. The original has the logo printed on the transparant plastic, the clone has a sticker.
And no one is gonna sell you the original for a price like $25,-
As the software won't recognize your dongle my guess is you bought a clone.

I've also had a problem on mine that no one can seem to solve. My dongle (100% original) wont update at all. Keeps saying Flash Failed when I try. Any idea why?
