Grab the xRegistry.sys editor from the bottom of the page here...

http://ps3wiki.*************.com/ps3...le_Format.html

Then FTP into your ps3 and grab a few copies of /dev_flash2/etc/xRegistry.sys (make sure you save afew backups as if you get something wrong you'll need to restore a backup).

Then open the xRegistry.sys in the editor previously downloaded, and find the line

/setting/system/buttonAssign

Highlight it and edit the middle field in the right hand pane from 00000000 to 00000001 and click the save button, then choose file save then file exit.

(You need to save it twice else your changes wont be saved).

Ftp the file back to your ps3 overwriting the existing xRegistry.sys, and restart your ps3.

The button should now be switched
