Ok, I found the fix for people having the uneven pattern and elf file not being created problems. In my exhaustion last night I failed to realize that ALL of my testers already had the ps3keys in the correct location. Of course, without keys, the EBOOT.BIN cannot be decrypted and an elf file cannot be made. What needs to be done for this application to work for those people, is they need to download the ps3 keys and place them in their user folder.

These keys need to be in a ps3keys folder in your user folder. On Windows 7 that is C:\User\[yourusername]\ps3keys.
I have updated the OP at psgroove. Here, I do not have privileges to do so. Can a mod here please update the OP to reflect this needed setup step. Also, feel free to use our links for keys or your own, we will not take them down just cause they are used here. If you prefer your own links for keys, I don't mind at all. Thank you.
To everyone, have fun with this app, and keep it enjoyable for others. No one has fun when you cheat online. Offline cheating doesn't harm anyone, online cheating destroys the network. To $ony, please release minor update patches for ALL games so that this method cannot be used to cheat online. (not that they'll listen, lol)

works like a charm just follow blazes instructions! tested on xp 32bit & win7 64bit also its buggy abit but afte you created the patched eboot close and rerun the program because for me it doesn't load up the cheat data base if you try to patch another eboot one after each other. Other wise then that works excellent!

Pss. can you ask dean K if you use this in his next mutiman also if not can you make a ps3 app so edit the sfo on the fly using the ps3 before loading the game in the xmb....
