I have the same problem
I have tried altering the USB.CFG file
with 2 lines, where i save the original value and write my own under.
and with only one line (my own).
I have a 500gb with one partition
it looks like this:
0X067b:0X3507:1
anything I'm missing?

Got it to work..
I changed the drive enclosure!!
