nice, i know that there is some room there because my LEDs stick out into it but i did not think you could get led strips in there. Maybe my led strips are fatter because of the water proof rubber coating.
I suppose the only downside of the strips is that you can't form complicated shapes like my ps logo. but they should work nicely for the 7 segment display.
