Ok well I haven't been able to progress past trying to install Red Ribbon Linux, I can boot into it, start the installer and I get to the partitioning, I choose automatic and it errors with -

"The resulting partition is not properly aligned for best performance"

and the strangest part is that no matter what partition was there before it will reset itself back to a
primary Linux 23097MB
primary linux-swap(v1) 518

I am wondering if this due to the ps3 having a 1TB internal HD ?

Any help please as I can see it but can't touch it yet .. haha
