Also:
I know that ps3 proxy is said to not work with 2.10 firmware... but... its also believed to work with demos. I tried to use it for demos but when i run the program ON THE PC: It gives me the ip and port, i setup my ps3 connection to use the proxy, and then click ok but i don't get a gui program closes and then nothing... check tsk mgr and its running but no gui....

I would like to know:
1)can ps3 proxy be used for demos?
2)where's my gui?

Edit: I have another question... Lots of links in the forums seem to not work... they just lead me to the main page... anyone else experience this? is it normal, have admins blocked those links or they don't exist any more???

THank you. UnRidaz.
Question 1 - on your ps3, hover over the video that doesnt play, press triangle, go to information, scroll all the way down, and it should tell you the video and audio codec.

Question 2 - get TVersity if you have a router (media server). it converts videos on the spot as you click on them.

side note - PS3 Video 9 is possibly the best converter as it is perfectly set up for ps3, and even supports things like MKV.
