This particular tutorial needs some clarity, so I have a few questions:
1. Is this "NO-CHECK" 3.55 version a KMEAW firmware, or just a stock 3.55 firmware? What I'm saying is, will this downgrade us to a CFW that allows us to still do homebrew, or is the quick swap not so quick as it would force us to downgrade and THEN install Kmeaw over the no-check 3.55
2. Is it possible to do this without data loss on my 3.55 drive? In other words, can I remove the 3.55 drive, put in a clean drive for 3.70 and upgrade to the newest firmware, and then when downgrading BACK to 3.55, plug in the same old drivefrom my Kmeaw and reinstall the 3.55 no check without it formatting and erasing everything getting rid of my saves and homebrew?
This needs to be updated, as these are just my questions, but I do greatly appreciate the work of the ProgSkeet team and those who wrote this tutorial. But for the people like myself who aren't afraid of soldering and TRULY want to jump on this ship, I need to know what I stand to lose. Because even if I back up all my data, I'd still have to either reactivate all my content or use that old school act.dat fix that was pumped out months ago.
