Yes, my launch-date BC PS3 died the day I started testing the PS2 backups.
Hmm nice, sorry to bring it up, but how can you mount a PS2 game? I mean what folder structures etc...
I'll try to get my launch model back and if you want I can send you it since it has no use anymore for me (it got a YLOD but I'm sure it's not the thermal paste/overheat problem -thank god-, its the AC/DC faulty, I was just unable to find a spare one at a reasonable price and then I got as a present a 40GB one so I gave up on it)
Now I have a good reason to bring that console back to life.
