Well regarding your 3000 you can have what is known as (L)CFW which is LITE Custom Firmware, since you are on 6.35 go to 6.60 the latest OFW and then install PROS 6.60 (L)CFw and use the fast recovery in order to boot back quickly into custom firmware after you have done switched off your system completely.
