If you have a PS3 Slim, the E3 flasher will be solderless. (They got rid of its NAND so it is does not need any soldering. Comes with a clamp to attach it to the mobo). This is why they delayed it to Oct. 10th, to make fully solderless. You will still need to open the console though.
There are no other ways. You will have to buy hardware and install it if you want to downgrade at this point in time.
