A YLOD is a symptom of an overheating problem...obviously the guy didn't do a great job of reflowing the solder, but that really wouldn't have been a big problem if the system wasn't overheating. I would tell you to take it back to him and make him fix it correctly, but something tells me that he would just do it wrong again. So instead, go back and get your money back...and give that money to someone else. Once it is working again, address the overheating problem or else this will happen again in a couple of months no matter how good the second repair is (although if you have it reballed it can actually run for a very long time even while overheating).
