Ok, I am new to this, had my PHAT ps3 since release date. I just got a 160 GB slim one. I want to hack the slim one with the e3 flasher. Here are my questions

1. How do I know what version it is when it comes to nand, or others that there is?

2. How does this downgrade work, isn't the FW imbedded in the console it self, and if that is the case, where is the OFW and CFW saved and loaded if your doing dual boot?

3. Why isn't there any videos of them having the OFW and downgrading, so we can see what you have to do in order to downgrade grade? or how it downgrades.

4. Is E3 flasher solder-less? this is a must for me because I will NOT put any heat to my PS3 motherboard.

I believe that I am missing some pieces to the puzzle.

One thing to comment on is that I have noticed there is a lot of helpful people here, some other form get rude just for asking a question. I haven't seen that here. So, thank you and keep up the good work.
