This is what i thought, when you change the CATTEGORY, the system expects a list of fixed variables inside the param.sfo
I realized that you can remove someones (like PARENTAL_LEVEL or LICENSE in category HG or DG) and the system loads the content without problems
But i tried to add SUB_TITLE to an HG & DG and the system ignores this variable completly (but the file works perfect)
So there is "something" that is controlling what variables are valid in every CATTEGORY
So, you can remove varibles (i mean not to blank them, but remove completly included header table, etc...)
SFO editor can do that easy (but remember to check the ATRIBUTE value after the edition, because the program "blanks" the last bytes (so is disabling some of this flags)
In resume.... if you are changing the CATEGORY you need to "mimic" the rest of the variables for this kind of content
I never looked at this .sfo so no idea if there are varialbes with hashes, IDs or other "paired" data
