Oh, It's a Nokia N900 phone, my friend dropped it and when it stopped working he gave it to me.
I'm pretty sure that this is the only damage that has occurred to the device, since this is the heaviest part on the whole board, with least/smallest amount of pads.
actually, come to think about it, one other part has come off too, it's a 4-pin bga component, small as a grain of sand.
I'd ignore it and just wire past it (since it's only for ESD protection) but the pads are so small
Anyhow, it's a learning experience, so it'd be nice to succeed.
