Sorry to spoil your little collection of Google images, but have you ever heard of religion that has given us scientific facts, which were proven centuries after? Search that religion up, and you will see that not all religions hate science. Some even use it to get others (people who believe in science) to know that this religion is not a complete lie.
Of course, Science likes to say that the religion guessed all the facts. But, then the Religion says,
"Have you heard of probability? If not, please explain the chances of a man to get 10 scientific facts PERFECTLY right and science to STILL not achieve it after centuries of discovering it?"
Anyways, I am not in the mood to use grammar so please don't say my grammar is horrible. The point here is, that you guys are "Stereotyping" every religion just by the definition of the word itself, "religion."

"Killing the the name of God"
I just hate that. Why don't people understand that their are two types of people in a Religion, Hypocrites and the people who follow it.
Let me explain each one's job:
People who follow Religion:
Follow it as the book is said, follow it as the others follow it, and follow it as you are thought. These people follow the Religion by what it says, and do NOT take advantage of it. If the Religion says to do such, then they do such. BUT, when the Religion says to do such, you do not just do it, you first clarify that what you are about to do is literally following the Religion, or following it by INFERRING. Some just literally follow it and this is what leads them to becoming hypocrites. Others who infer, they know that when the Religion is says such, you are to do "such" by doing it the right way. Confused? Here is a unrelated example:
Lets eat, Grandma!
Lets eat Grandma!
Lets just say the first one is the one that is written, people will follow it and will eat with their grandmothers. But the hypocrites will take advantage of it, and will actually go ahead and eat their grandmothers.
Get it no? No?
Hypocrites: These people say they are part of one Religion, but they don't follow it properly. They use the religion to create their own rules and terms, killing in the name of God being one of them. These people go out their and kill a person, and say "We were just following our religion and killing the person in the name of God! :O".
But what does "You are aloud to kill in the name of God" really mean? It means that you are aloud to kill when the following has happened:
Religious Person:
Person steals your car:
1. Ask nicely to give it back, work out the problem with the police.
Person steals yet another item:
2. Try once more to solve the problem without any violence.
Persons shoots a bullet through your house:
3. Try to root out the problem, do not just jump to conclusions but ask the police, or reach and agreement.
Person tries to shoot you:
4. Self Defence. You are now aloud to kill that person while defending yourself.
Person kills your mate:
5. That person is not your teacher, do not do what he do, but find a workaround.
Person yet commits another crime:
7. Person has done too much to hurt you and nothing is being done about it, you are now aloud to kill in the name of God.

Hypocrite:
Person steals car:
1. Kill him in the name of God and say the Religion said I am aloud to.

If it is an Accident:
Person is in jungle and runs with your meat:
1. You shoot him thinking it was a bear.
Now pay the bloodprice and ask for forgiveness.

See how Religion works? There are rules and consequences even in Religion too. It is not just what the book of Religion says, but what the Religion itself tries to say.
