Ok, I'm from the netherlands, the only country which had (!!) a kind of normal and legal drug scene before they created the one big Europe monster. Now we are facing the problems with the open borders making all kind of nationalities go to our coffee-shops. The government isn't happy with this (thousands of visitors a day) and they are thinking of ways to close all coffee-shops and are going after everyone who grows weed. About 6 months back I had a little police army searching my house to see if I wasn't growing any weed. Too bad for them there was nothing to find

I think destroying the coffee-shop system is a very bad move. Young people like to experiment with drugs and if they can't get a light drug like weed they will experiment with other drugs they can get. and they are way more addictive. The amount of people experimenting with GHB and that kind of drugs is rising every day here because weed gets to expensive due to all razzia's.

But we still have a very open society if it comes to drugs and I am very glad about that. I have learned a lot from movies like Christiane F. and Trainspotting. There is also no problem with showing them on TV here. If I look at the way the US works I am glad I don't live there because if i was I would be a harddrug addict to...

We have special clinics here to stop with the use of drugs:

Maybe you can find some info for your friend about stopping with the use of drugs on this site. There isn't that much info about meth and that kind of harddrugs because with our open system and easy ways to get normal drugs we don't have that kind of very bad drugs here.
