No, you dont really need to completely take it apart to clean it. You only do that if you want to be extremely thorough (You'd be surprised how much dust gets in the system and where it ends up). If you take the fan assembly/heat sinks off then you will need to clean off the old thermal compound and reapply new compound (I recommend something high quality such as arctic silver 5). If you dont want to take it completely apart then just focus on the areas where air is supposed to flow (around the fan ducts and air vents) and try to use dry compressed air to blow out the areas a cloth wont reach.

okk thnaxx... i dnt want to reaaply the thermal paste..as i knw it will be not tht much worn out in 1.5yrs.. so according to u i will just open it clean the dust..i wont be taking fan asembly off.. i just clean vents and dust from the inside..
