I think what we are seeing is intellectual conversation being derailed on account of this thread being on the front page. It is also for this fact that I believe we are seeing a lot more members asking questions whose answers can be found through the forums. We are seeing members who are into the scene when big news like this hits and expect for the results to fall into their lap instantaneously. Instant gratification has become something to expect when dealing with the current generation.
I don't know if it is on account of laziness, stupidity or a lack of maturity, but a lot of people don't search the forums before they ask questions and then get offended when they are asked to. Waste of server space if you ask me.
It might be productive to create a thread that is not on the front page to share ideas, although I imagine the devs who are actually at work regarding this information are already doing this through PM or email.
