[QUOTE=EmBoLa.be;268724]IT's NOT NOOB, BUT NEWBIE,
ppl confused these names with each other.
Yeah, I know...off-topic, but very relevant not just here, but everywhere (Ok, more so here with the constant spamming of stupid questions):
II. Defining 'Noob'
Contrary to the belief of many, a noob/n00b and a newbie/newb are not the same thing. Newbs are those who are new to some task* and are very beginner at it, possibly a little overconfident about it, but they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage.
n00bs, on the other hand, know little and have no will to learn any more. They expect people to do the work for them and then expect to get praised about it, and make up a unique species of their own.
EmBoLa.be: When I read many of these noob/newbie posts...I think many people around here are being VERY kind to them by refering to them as noobs or newbies...
All...sorry for going off-topic, but I REALLY WISH many of these posters would take the time to read before posting. ****...even I don't read all 700+ posts to figure out whats going on. I just go to the last page, read the last 5, 10 or 15 posts...which normally, you should be able to figure out pretty quickly from there what has been happening.
I will remain quiet and on-topic from now on. Thanks for reading
