What NOR chip do You have? Do You see "unknown manufacture" every time or some times?
I had Spansion,Macronix,Samsung K8P2716, but problems with reading I had only with Samsung K8Q2815. Other chips read and write correctly. (Samsung K8Q2815 sometimes shows "unknown manufacturer")

I used NORway_v0.4_beta12

I do so: I switched teensy to 5V-mod and received correct dump (5 dumps had same MD5 and norpatch find correct ros0/ros1). Then I switched it to 3.3V and erase chip. I patched my dump with dospiedras_v2. Then I open NORway.py and replace all "rdata = self.readsector(addr+(block/2), 0x1000)" with "rdata == data[block:block+0x1000]", save it and make "writeword" with patched dump. My console returned to life and I successfully update it with rogero_v2 firmware.
Try "writeword" several times until You console boots correctly.
Good luck

If norpatch says "unknown" in each row - You dump is not correct!
Do not connect Teensys 3.3V to anywhere! Disconnect it from console!
Try such procedure:
1. connect USB (power is disconnected)
2. NORway.py YOUR_COM
3. connect power cable and turn on console (console just turns on and do not show you "red flashes" or "beeps")
4. NORway.py YOUR_COM
5. NORway.py YOUR_COM dump xxxxx.bin
6. NORway.py YOUR_COM dump yyyyy.bin
7. NORway.py YOUR_COM release
8. disconnect power cable
Your dumps must have same MD5, norpatch must find correct ros0/ros1 and you must find IFI!!!
