Hello!
As you can see in the picture, my PS3 Slim is different than the one in
your tutorial. Which way is the correct way to attach the clip? Will
this even work? I've tried both possible ways, neither one will turn on
the lights when the PS3 has power, the lights will only go on when i
turn ON the PS3.
The first way I tried nothing happened at all, the other way PS3 tries
to boot, but tells me "Can not start. Could not find correct hard disk."
I have attached the SATA station, it has power and is turned on.
Also, the blue lights (The error code lights), are flashing in this
manner: 1357-2468-1357-2468-etc. What can I do!?
I can't do anything, and your tutorial has a really bad english...

I've tried that, and I think I broke my E3 Flasher board in the process.
The HDD case you supplied does not fit at all and it is impossible to
position the softboard correctly.
I paid good money for this and it is simply not working out for me.
What I would need is a new softboard and e3 flasher (content of the
first package).
And I really would like to get a tutorial that works for my model!

Answer:
if your console can't install correct, you had to remove e3 flasher after downgrade success.
because diffirence console has diffirence mainboard design, we can't make a universal e3 flasher by far.
so if you can't accept this downgrade way, you can return to your vendor .

Well, sending a 1,2kg package to Hongkong would cost about 30 to 45 USD (slow and express), I am not sure I want to pay this kind of money, just to get 88 USD back - maybe. Sucks a little. Not sure if I'm even gonna ask slickdoor if they'll take it back.
