Hello everyone,

(MAIN QUESTION IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ THE WHOLE POST)


Is it better for my Blu-Ray drive that there is always a game inserted in it or that i insert a game in it just when i need it ?


I bought my 40 GB PS3 maybe 8-9 months ago, it had CFW at that time, and everything was working excellent.

There was a Blu-Ray game inside the tray everytime but one day my blu-ray just stopped working, it was strange, when i inserted a disc in the loading icon started spinning but nothing happened.

Right now i wanted to try it again after a few months, so i started my PS3 inserted a game, and again the icon spinning but nothing more, then i ejected the disc and inserted it again, and whoa, gues what IT'S WORKING :D

I started the game and everything seems just fine, i then ejected the disc again to try it again and it loads it again normal :D

I think that it maybe is at the dieing phase so i want just to ask, is it better for my Blu-Ray drive that there is always a game inserted in it or that i insert a game in it just when i need it ?


Please someone answer me fast, because i wan't to do the best for it so that it lasts longer, till now i have no games that require a game in the tray but now i have plans to buy games that i couldn't play before :D
