looks like it depends on how u have taken ur backup. if u did it with multiman(Multiman split big psarc files to .666x files for Fat32) to external hdd then first u need to merge .666x files to big with Open Split then apply this method if it is same as on the disc(Backed up with a Blu Ray drive or u r a pirate
) then directly you can apply the fix.
