I recall having read about a mfw that bypasses the logic board. Do u or anyone know anything about this or Im incorrect?

EDIT: after briefly reading seems u can bypass the bd but not the logic board. Would love to be corrected though...
When you try to update firmware with a broken or not present logic board, you get update loop with error 8002F14E. The BD bypass firmware only allows you to not get that error and update properly without a board, it does not make the PS3 work without it.

The rest of the BD (motors, sensors and lens) doesn't matter, the hypervisor and firmware updater only check the BD logic board.
