hi guys. i have managed to finally get sonic to load/run. now when i play the game and finish the first stage i come across a cut scene. once that has finished and i try to continue play i get a black screen with poor sonic continually falling. the only thing to do is quit. have tried several times only to get the same result.... what can i do..

I had the same issue actually. Just skip the movie and when you will appear in the white field - just carefully move only right till you will reach the entrance to GREEN HILL. Make sure the TO STAGE sign appears and only then press UP before the entrance to go into the stage. After that it should run fine. It seems it is a DEMO issue.
