Assuming that is true it just started making a WHOLE LOAD less sence then it did 5 minutes ago. I was stuck on "Attach your controller" part and restarted it in many different ways, including disconnecting from power. It only bricked when i tried to go into service mode.

BIOS errors can show different symptoms, like in my case, where E3 Flasher deleted the bios but was unable to rewrite it (so basically just deleted it). It no commands of how it should act so it restarts in 2 seconds.
What I think you have (i think corrupt BIOS) might be that way because something went wrong in process of backup and wrote the start of the bios (like powerup and stuff) but the process did not go through properly. Or possibly you backed up with non upgraded version of E3 flasher, which made the BIOS readable, but not function properly. I really don't know this.

Well either that or different models of ps3 have different symptoms for same bricks.

By the way, did anyone get replied from E3 Team in the last week?

read this: E3 Recently opened up a download link for Bios dump checker. Check yours! we'll know for sure!
