No reading the question, he is asking if the format on the ps3 hdd can be read on a PC....unless he stated it unintentionally wrong. The Bases of a filesystem is not "linux based" of even "ps3 based" so the ps3 hdd can be any filesystem as it is proprietary. Last I remembered graf was only able to disable encryption and not decrypt or bypass it. I don't know/remember if the PS3 used a hdd encryption or a filesystem level encryption, If I had to guess then Id say the disk is encrypted.
