installing tb cfw

first sorry for my english
Soon i have a TB dongle and need to install the tb cfw.Now i heard that it's better to update to 3.55 ofw and then to the tb3.55.Is that true?
I run kmeaw3.55 at this moment
I have a lot of games most psn and a few other (normal) games on the internal hdd.Will i be able to play them when i install ofw3.55 and then cfw3.55tb
And whats better the TB cfw i saw on this page or the original that came with the TB ?
