I use heat resistant tape to tape the connection so it doesn't make contact when you reassemble your Ps3 slim which maybe is why doesn't work.
Also when you put it back together did you move switches 100000?
1st is up and rest is down then turn on ps3?

Hi, okay. I cut the ends of the wires and resoldered them and made sure they didn't make contact with anything else. Also, yes I did put the switches 100000. If you can help me, then man, would I be so very grateful to you.
Oh and do you put the wire through the hole on point SBE on the softboard? Or do you just add solder and stick it on? And how csn I tell if it worked? Will my PS3 stay on and not turn off?
