Furthermore, Linux is very well obtainable on 3.55 and below. So now we don't need a jailbreak for Linux. People on 3.60+ should be smart enough to know that a PS3 with 3.55 is still easily obtainable. My friend just got one from FutureShop with 3.41 as factory firmware.
Now many may argue they are looking for homebrew. All I can say, you are the people with PCs even more dinosaur than my old one. You can play 10x more homebrew on your computer than on your PS3. Want to play in HD? Connect your computer with your HDTV and enjoy the hundreds of emulators out there. Want to play with a controller? Connect your PS3 controller to your computer.
In conclusion, the computer IS the solution for your homebrew. No emulator should run slow on the computer other than the Dolphin (Wii) emulator. So stop using homebrew as an excuse, and admit to piracy.
