Hey the SETI Project goes on
The Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) halted their project Allen Telescope Array (ATA) due to lack of funds. They project was started in April 2011. But now, they have got enough funds to resume the project which looks to find extraterrestrial life.

This is a very good question it could be...but it must to be hard to hide such a info over years...
and about the religion yes there are bad people who take advantage of the religion but i think the most religion have a good purpose but the people are bad not the religion...
