Have to agree with you both on that point. I'd give up all of my consoles, my PC, internet connection, etc etc etc just to be able to spend the day with my family. To be honest, I'd do away with pretty much any of my material possession to be able to do so. Living on opposite ends of the country kinda blows.
To those with family nearby, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, do yourselves and me a favor, and spend some time with them; If not for your sake, then do it for them. Hell, do it for ME if that makes it easier to rationalize. You may not get the chance for quite a long while, which I've learned the hard way
