yes u will need to downgrade to a lower fw eg 3.20 then update to 3.55 ofw the normal way , have u check out ps3keys website for the downgrade files u need for you ps3key u need http://www.ps3key.com

Hello Cardenning thanks for your anser.... its not possebel try to down load the Jig fw bud its asking for my code and i put it some ware were i cant find it anny more.... and gif up un finding it about 2 days ago i stil have the olde files that came white the ps3 key but cant ereas the ps3key files that i put up on it.......... i downloaded a old ps3 update exe file but it cant find any thing on the key or the ol files from the ps3 key what i saved on my pc
