has two threads detailing step by step the CFW installing process with links to the software you'll need. I dont have links to those threads but they are in this forum.
so as far as hardware needed:
1. Downgrader (Progskeet, Teensy++, or E3Flasher)
2. USB Flash drive formatted to FAT32 or PSP with at least a 2gig memory stick
that's it that I know of.
